This software is licensed by QLogic for use by its customers only.

Version 1.04.41 is a feature release of the QLogic SANbox

Manager Fabric Management

Application.

Supported Firmware Versions

SANbox2 firmware version 1.3 or greater, or SANbox 1Gb switch firmware 4.01 or greater, must

be used in conjunction with SANbox Manager 1.04.41 and SANsurfer Fabric View.

SANbox Manager does not support the legacy T_Port mode and therefore does not interface with

MKII switches or SANbox 1Gb switches in T_Port mode. SANsurfer Fabric View does not

support SANbox 1Gb switches, and must be used only in conjunction with SANbox2 switches.

Important Note

The SANbox2 1.5 release, planned for Q103 release, will be the final release to support SANbox

1G switch connectivity to the SANbox2. Therefore, the SANbox Manager 1.05 release will be the

final release to support the SANbox 1Gb switch.

Features in this Release

Version 1.04.41 provides the following features:

• SANbox2-64 Support – Full platform support for the SANbox2-64 switch.

• SANsurfer Fabric View - Traffic, errors, etc. can be monitored in real time on a per port

basis.

o Set graph polling interval - User settable update rate for how often to poll.

o Can graph bytes or frames.

o Can change bytes/frame legend and background colors.

• TL Passport –

o allows TL initiators to see each other within the same zone; enables initiator to

initiator communication.

o allows for domain/port members for zones that contain private devices.

o allows for zones to contain both public and private members.

• Remove "Brocade Mode" - Only active zone sets will be propagated as per the FC-SW2

specification.
